The Copyright Society of the USA, Philadelphia Chapter presents: Too Much of a Good Thing? An Empirical Critique of Lengthy Copyright Terms
In extending copyright terms for the likes of Mickey Mouse, Congress has assumed such lengthy terms are necessary to incentivize creators. Paul Heald, the Allen Post Professor of Law at the University of Georgia, thinks otherwise, and has empirical data to prove it. He will present a lively talk on this subject at Woodcock Washburn's Philadelphia Office at the Cira Center, from 5:00-6:45 p.m.

Cost: $10 for members and $20 for non-members.

Hors d'oevres and wine will be served. PA CLE approval for 1 substantive credit is pending. Pre-registration is required. Please contact Matthew Ritter at 215-564-5127 or by email at mritter@woodcock.com.
